![]() The STU3 version of FHIR is used for DAPB4042.Ĭonsiderable work has been undertaken by suppliers and care provider organisations to implement this Transfer of Care message in STU3 which was the current version of FHIR at the time of development. It is free, open, and designed to be quick to learn and implement. The DAPB4042 standard is based on FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) which is a HL7 global industry standard for passing healthcare data between systems. These are planned to go through the DAPB approval process during 2022/23. This is the first of four messages to be approved for Transfer of Care, the others being Inpatient and Day Case Discharge Summary for Mental Health, Emergency Care Discharge Summary, and Outpatient Clinic Letter.
